It was a gift for a good friend- he wrote a book, and so I decided to draw his characters for him to surprise him ^^ He loved it, thankfully, even though it took longer than expected: thanks to the fact that my white gel pen went and ran out. As per usual. -.-'
I've wanted to do promo-style composition for a while. It was pretty fun to put together, actually, and not that hard. I've been pretty much drawig from my head recently, no references or copying. That's gotta be a good thing?
Thing is, this guy still has my A3 pad. I needed it today: I'm seemingly snowed under with requests and commissions, so I started on a housewarming present for someone, but had to stick two A4 sheets together. And it was so boooooring to draw... I got distracted, and drew something different, which you will maybe so tomorrow if you stick around >.<
Hope you guys are having a nice long weekend. I've done nothing except go for a run and feel fat... Yeah, they don't go together well in a sentence, but it's true! I was listening to the radio earlier, for about 6 hours on the trot... Went on FB, to see what everyone else was up to, and their all out, sexing and drinking. I'm so tame >.<
Markers, coloured pencil, damn gel pen, goddamn patience and a rather battered manuscript ^^
NB- Weird, or what... You can see different character lookalikes in this. Comment when you see some, kay?
Thank you! I only used it one time because I forgot to leave highlights, and my stepmum gave one to me... Now I can't live without it, it makes things gleam, and neatens lines!! Get one, baka! >.<
And is he doing anything with this book?
You're useless. :b
